Historic Event

Today at 11:00 am, black-tailed prairie dogs were
ceremoniously returned to southeastern arizona.
They were extirpated from arizona
in the 1930s, so this event has been a long time coming.
A critical component of our southeastern
grassland ecosystem, where prairie dogs
live, a multitude of species flourish.
